APOEL - HISTORY

  APOEL FC created in Cyprus, Nicosia in 1926 is currently Cyprus' most decorated club regarding titles as the club has won 29 league titles and multiple of titles of the cup and super cup. Despite the big domestic success, APOEL made a stand out in the European competitions throughout the years, especially in the 2011-2012 season where the Cypriot team reached the quarter-finals of the Uefa Champions League.

 The fanbase of APOEL known as AU79 is the country's wildest supporters and one of the most fascinating ultras globally. The large group of supporters have created their own "houses", one in every town of Cyprus. In addition, the ultras of APOEL are known for their unbelievable koreos, pyroshows and for the chaotic atmosphere that they create in every game. APOEL ultras are Greek-Cypriots, are really passionate for their country and want to be part of Greece, as they hate the Turks.
